Le Tiroir started with a simple frustration: getting dressed should not take twenty minutes, and a wardrobe should not need forty pieces to work.
A capsule is a small, deliberate set of two or three pieces that go together. Not a trend, not a haul. One shirt, one pair of trousers, one layer, chosen so they work together and separately. We photograph the pieces, write about how they wear, and link to where you can buy them.
We are a two-person project based in Hong Kong, writing for readers in the United States. Everything on the site is chosen by hand. If a piece wrinkles badly, runs small, or only works in one outfit, it does not get a capsule.
How we make money

What we don’t do
We don’t publish sponsored capsules, we don’t write about pieces we haven’t looked at properly, and we don’t use countdown timers or “last chance” pressure. If something is not worth your money, it is not on the site.
