This page explains what happens to your data when you read Le Tiroir. It is short on purpose.
What we collect
We do not ask you for personal information to read the site. There are no accounts, no newsletter signup, and no comment system.
We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics to count visits and see which capsules are useful. That data is aggregated: it tells us a page was read, not who read it, and it cannot be used to identify you.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, the retailer may record that the visit came from Le Tiroir and pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same either way.
Once you click through to a retailer, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, including any cookies they set. We have no control over that and receive none of your personal data from them: only the fact that an order was placed through our link.
Third parties that may see your request
- Cloudflare hosts the site and processes requests, including IP addresses, to serve pages and block abuse.
- Retailers you click through to, who apply their own policies.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site.
Your rights
If you are in the United States, California residents may request information about personal data collected. Because we collect none beyond aggregate analytics, there is nothing to disclose or delete. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will look into it.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
